How 13 Card Rummy Scoring Works

The winner of a 13-card hand scores 0. Everyone else adds the points of cards that are not in valid groups. That number times the table's rupee value is the Points bill.

J, Q, K, A10 points each.
2 to 10Face value.
Jokers0 if grouped or ungrouped — still 0.

What counts

Ungrouped cards only, once someone has made a valid declare. A finished pure sequence in your hand does not add. A loose king does.

The cap

Most Points tables cap a dump at 80. Holding three face cards ungrouped still bills 80, not 90. Drop numbers sit under that cap.

Pool and Deals use the same count

Pool stacks the points toward 101 or 201. Deals convert the count to chips. Same 13-card arithmetic. Ledgers: Points vs Pool vs Deals.
