Impure Sequence and Joker

An impure sequence is a same-suit run that borrowed a joker. It counts as a sequence. It never replaces the pure sequence you still owe the table.

FillerPrinted joker or wild joker.
RoleSecond sequence or extra run.
TrapDo not call this your pure sequence.

How it is made

You need 5-6 of clubs and the wild joker stands in for 7. Same suit story, one substitute. Printed jokers work the same way.

Where it sits in a show

Use it as the second sequence after a real pure run exists. A hand of only impure runs is still invalid.

When to spend the joker

After the pure run is closed. Holding the joker too long is a different mistake — see do not hold joker too long.
