How Ace Works in Indian Rummy
Ace is the card beginners misplace. It finishes A-2-3 or Q-K-A. It scores 10 if it sits ungrouped when someone else declares.
Pick a side
If you hold A and 2, look for 3. If you hold A and K, look for Q. Do not wait for both stories on one ace.
Joker next to ace
A joker can fill 2 in A-?-3 as an impure run. That is not a pure sequence. You still need a clean run elsewhere.
Throw early if stuck
A loose ace is 10 points. Same as a king. The discard high cards early habit includes aces.
