Printed Joker vs Wild Joker

Two kinds of joker sit on Indian tables. Printed jokers are the extra cards in the pack. The wild joker is whichever rank this hand opened. Both substitute. Neither is allowed in a pure sequence.

PrintedThe joker cards in the decks.
WildThe rank shown at the deal.
BothFill impure runs and sets only.

Printed jokers

They look like jokers. They are always wild for groups. They do not copy a suit for a pure run.

Wild joker this hand

If 8 of diamonds is opened, every 8 is wild this deal, plus that opened card's story on the table. Use them like printed jokers.

Do not hoard both

Two jokers in hand and no pure sequence is a dump waiting to happen. Close the pure run, then spend them. Printed joker in the deck is the pack note.
