Rummy Terms Indian Players Use
Indian tables talk in a mix of English and table slang. This glossary is the words you hear in a Points lobby, not a poker glossary.
Deal words
Closed deck is the face-down pile. Open / discard is the face-up pile. Toss decides who deals. Wild joker is the rank opened this hand.
Hand words
Pure sequence, impure sequence, set, dummy (a hand that will not group), drop, middle drop, wrong show / invalid declaration.
Cash words
Points value, pool 101 / 201, deals 2-3-6, cashable wallet, bonus wallet. Bonus is not UPI — bonus is not cash.
